Dani – Office Manager
Dani has worked side by side with Dr. Yoong since 2004! She started as his back-office assistant and developed into the office manager. When she’s not answering phones, fighting with insurance companies, and running the office, you can catch her at Dodger Stadium cheering on the Boys in Blue.
Some extra tasks around the office include I.T. support, being the office “mom,” and acting as the handywoman. Dani spends her weekends chasing her two daughters around. Weekends also include being bossed around by her two black labs, Scully and Utley.
Creating sweet treats in the kitchen has always been a hobby—she’s a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur.
Chelsea – Registered Dental Hygienist
A Ventura County native, Chelsea began her dental career in Ojai over 25 years ago as a dental assistant. After earning her Dental Hygiene degree in 2002, she worked in Santa Barbara until joining our team in 2015. She has experience in pediatric, periodontal, and general dentistry.
Chelsea’s superhero ability is providing quality care while keeping a smile on her patients’ faces. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has two children and two fur babies. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, ziplining, and off-road adventures—if her husband lets her!
Chelsea has recently discovered that traveling is good for her soul (we tried to tell her years ago). Her future goal is to own a lake house—snake-free, of course—but it must be near great restaurants since she is a self-described “terrible cook.”
Lauri – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lauri grew up in Ojai, CA, following in the footsteps of her younger sister, Chelsea—who will forever have bragging rights to the phrase, “I TOLD YOU SO.”
She is known for her all-potato diets and her strong dislike of anything green. Lauri has two children who have, without a doubt, turned her hair gray! She graduated from Oxnard College Dental Hygiene in 2015.
Lauri insists her life is “too boring,” which explains why her bio is short—Mwahahaha! But that’s about to change because she has officially caught the travel bug… Up next, ITALY!
Leti – Registered Dental Assistant
Leti is our Registered Dental Assistant with over 30 years of experience. She joined Dr. Yoong’s team in 2014 and has enjoyed her time as an assistant, especially the relationships and friendships she has built along the way.
When Leti isn’t working, she loves spending time with her family, staying active, and baking. What she enjoys most is traveling with her husband and visiting her daughter and son-in-law in Seattle.

Sarah – Dental Assistant
Sarah has been with our office since April 2023. You can find her assisting the doctor with patients, making nightguards, and keeping the office up to date with the latest technology. She is currently a dental assistant and will soon be Registered!
Sarah loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys hiking, the great outdoors, and a nice glass of red wine. Her son, River, keeps her on her toes—he’s a typical rambunctious boy! Her little farm of animals keeps her happy and busy.

Sydney – Front Office
Sydney joined our team in May 2024. If she answers the phone, please talk to her—no, she isn’t Dani, but she does know what she’s doing!
Sydney began her dental career in 2006 as a Registered Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant. After eight years, she took a pause from dentistry to stay home with her two crazy kiddos and spend time with her husband of 15 years, Bradley.
She also met the unofficial office requirement of having a black dog—her lab, Trout—who loves playing in the waves while her family surfs. She hopes to sneak away soon with Bradley to their favorite island, Kauai.
